The Knights Templar, Grand Priory of Scandinavia is an autono-
mous Priory within the genuine Ordo Supremus Militaris Templi
Hierosolymitani (O.S.M.T.H.) under His Excellence, the Grand
Master and Prince Regent of the Sovereign and Military Order
of the Temple of Jerusalem, Count Fernando Pinto de Sousa Fontes.

The Grand Priory of Scandinavia was founded 1981 when a Grand
Prior General was appointed for the four Nordic countries and this
united several Knights in the Grand Priory's countries.


The objects of O.S.M.T.H. Grand Prieuré Scandinave are:

- To defend and promote the spread of the Christian faith through
  actively practising its virtues: fraternal love, compassion, charity
  and adherence to Church commandments
- To carry on the knighthood's traditions
- To practise charitable, humanitarian work (which is the Order's principal purpose)
- To promote the study of history, heraldry, genealogy, philosophy and religion.


Grand Priory of Scandinavia extend over the Priories of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and
Swede-Finland.

Priory of Scandinavia correspond and co-operate with other O.S.M.T.H. Priories globally.
